Snake

I see you slither towards me
I'm cornered and you're all I can see.
No where to escape to,
You coil around me turning me blue.
Sharp fangs pierce my skin,
You can't imagine the pain that I'm in.
As your venom runs through my veins,
I look up to the sky as it rains.
Tears trickle down my chin,
My head begins to spin.
I can no longer pretend,
This is the end.
You sinister snake, poisoning my mind
I'm glad that you're the only one of your kind.
